Amazon Fire Stick ChitramTV: How to identify your Amazon Fire Stick model for Chitram TV
Different kinds of Amazon Fire TV Sticks are released over the last few years, it’s difficult for some people to figure out exactly which model, version, year, or generation device they own. This guide will help you easily determine which generation and model you have.
1. Software Method (Recommended Method)
In this first method, we are trying to detect the Firestick model with help of an App. First of all, you need to turn on your TV and Fire Stick. If your Fire TV is turned on, the recommended and easiest way to determine exactly which model you have is to install the Informer app. It’s available for free in the Amazon app store. To install the app, simply search for “Informer” right from your Fire TV. You will see the Informer app logo as given on this page and tap on the logo to install it.
Once it is installed, please open the Informer App and this will tell you which Fire TV model you have, what generation it is when it was released, its specs, and much more. Once you launch the app, it will display all the information about your specific Fire TV.
2. Hardware Method
If your Fire TV is turned off and you don’t want to power it on to use the Informer app to identify your device, scroll to the section below that describes the shape of your device to determine which model you have.
